You'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to create a new event. Your existing events continue to run normally — only new event creation is paused until you upgrade or your billing cycle resets.
The badge generator closes automatically when the attendee limit is reached. A "limit exceeded" page is shown to any further visitors. You can upgrade your event tier to increase the limit.
